What is Social Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship is a relatively new concept, it was not used in text until 1972, (surely the practice was used long before that). The purpose of social entrepreneurship is to provide innovative strategies to problems that affect a large segment of society. Take the owner of Toms, Blake Mycoskie who created a $400 million company by offering to provide a pair of low-cost shoes to someone in need with every purchase of a pair of Toms shoes.
My goal is to provide a low-cost membership that allows for a large segment of society to join and benefit from building better business relationships. I do not anticipate a cost of more than $2, with a guarantee that .65 cents of every purchase will go directly to people and organizations that are motivated to solving problems and bringing people together.
